TEMPLATE 1: DATA BROKER REMOVAL
Copy and paste this into contact forms or emails.
Tip: Many data brokers have a dedicated opt-out form. Check their footer for "Do Not Sell My Info" or "Privacy Request" links first.
TEMPLATE 2: GDPR/CCPA REMOVAL REQUEST
Use this if the company is based in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA).
Note: This works best for companies based in the EU or California. Many US-based companies will ignore GDPR requests.
TEMPLATE 3: GOOGLE RESULTS ABOUT YOU REMOVAL
Google will automatically handle the request through their tool, but you may need to manually submit for certain results.
Request URL: myactivity.google.com/results-about-you
Steps:
- Click "Get started"
- Add the personal information you want to monitor
- When Google finds a result, click "Request removal"
- Google will review and remove if it "meets policy requirements"
Google's policy: They will remove results that are "doxxing" or "unwanted" but may not remove public records or news articles.
